Firstly, if you're searching for trendy single and ankle strap heeled sandals, do not settle for low quality. Low quality ankle strap sandals will not only be painful to walk in, but they'll also be DIFFICULT to walk (in terms of balance) - chances are they will not fit correctly and walking in a straight line or up/down-hill will be similar to walking a tight rope. If you can afford it, spring for a higher quality (and most likely, more expensive) shoe. You'll receive FAR more compliments and walking will be easier and relatively less painful.Now, about the "Nudist"....PRO: This is a status shoe. Those who know, will know that you shelled out bucks for these beauties - some people care about having a status image, others don't. For those who do, passers-by that are in the know will recognize this as a status shoe!PRO: They look good... period. You will get stares and/or compliments.PRO: It's well-constructed, therefore, easier to balance, considering the height of the shoe (the heel clears 4").CON: When land your heel, the skin around the back-top of your ankle will rub against the surface of the top of the heel (which is scale-like in texture - this shoe has a snakeskin texture). This is particularly because the back of heel curves inward, into your ankle. This part of the shoe will rub your skin raw and make walking a little harder. However, you can lessen the pain buy cutting a sliver of a "back-the-heel cushion" and sticking it against on the inside of the heel-top.CON: The high pitch of the shoe DOES not make walking long distance easier. You may be able to endure 15 mintues of walking on a flat surface before you wished you could either reach your destination or just sit down. The very front balls of your feet will suffer. If you wear these, be strategic about where you park.I like the heel, but its not worth $398 being that they are so painful. I walked around my house for 20 min. My feet started to slide to the front almost touching the floor lol It was horrible. The pain alone from the strap where your toes sit hurts. The style is very classy but not worth the $$. I actually purchased the 7.5 which is normally my size in designers but I believe the 7 would fit better but still have pain on where my toes are do to my feet sliding forward. I would try to put cushion on the ball of my feet to see if I can at least stay in them for an hour for Christmas. I will try anything possible before returning since I got them for only $195. Recommend half size down! Be aware that they have no support and walking will be cut short.These heels are timeless and classic. I'm usually a 5.5 in most heels, and 6 in boots, but only 6's were available. I needed these shoes for a wedding so I took the chance and ordered the 6's. They seem to fit fine, although there's just a teensy bit of extra space in the front, but not enough to bother me too much. I can walk just fine in them though. Oh yeah, these shoes are the epitome of the saying "beauty is pain". So much pain. There was a lot of sitting goin on with these shoes. In the end, I'm very glad I purchased these; they're a fab addition to my closet.I received the wrong color. I wanted the platinum but instead I received the platinum noir. The platinum noir is more silver with some hint of gold/black sparkles. The platinum is more copper and goldish. Stuart Weitzman runs a little big for me. I generally go half size down.This would be a great shoe if you're going to Vegas, as the holographic gold is more suitable for a nightclub or a stripper pole. It looks much more holographic and cheap in person, which is why I'm returning it. I wanted something classy and the color of this shoe is definitely not what I was going for.The shoes are beautiful but unless you have narrow feet they will hurt. As an avid high heel wearer who can wear heels up to 4 hours standing, these shoes were uncomfortable and felt like my feet were about to explode. If you have wide width feet, then you may want to skip these or size up a half size. Cute shoes though.AMAZING!! Worth the price!! I want more colors. I was hesitant to buy this shoe. It is such a simple design and they were pretty expensive.Once the price fell for these puppies I pounced. I wore them for the first time for Easter and they were surprisingly very comfortable. I will caution that they are very high. If you are not used to wearing very high heels then this shoe may not be for a novice. I own a pair of the Steve Madden "knock-off" version of this shoe and I would say that the quality of the Stuart Weitzman and comfort cannot be beat. Just make the investment and purchase these.I struggled on which size to buy considering how expensive this shoe is.. after reading reviews I was left more confused. Some went half a size down, others true to size and some half a size up.. as for me, I decided to go half a size up and they worked out perfectly! The reason I didn't go true to size was because of the thin toe strap, it's a little narrow and I don't have the thinnest foot so going a half a size up was the way to go for me! These shoes are a classic and absolutely gorgeous and simplistic. You can't go wrong!Omg!!! They are beautiful!! And arrived early!! Thank you.
